How we use your data
In short: we use the documents you send us only to answer you, we never sell them, and we delete them whenever you ask. Type DELETE on WhatsApp and your data is removed from our system.

What data we receive
- Your phone number and your WhatsApp display name, when you message us.
- The documents you send us: fines, notices, letters from collection agencies. They may contain number plates, the name of the driver or company, addresses, amounts and dates.
- Fleet documents, if you use the fleet file: tachograph card, driving licence, medical certificates, roadworthiness test, insurance, CMRs, invoices. They contain drivers' names, document numbers and expiry dates. We use them to keep them on file and to warn you before they expire.
- Your answers to our questions: your role in the company, how many trucks it has, how many fines you get a year, which offer interests you.
- Billing details, if you become a paying customer: company name, tax ID, address.
We do not ask for and do not need your personal ID number, bank details or passwords. Please don't send them to us.

Who else sees the data
We only work with providers that process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement:
- Anthropic (the Claude model), which reads the document and helps us prepare the analysis. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent through the API is not used to train models. Anthropic is based in the USA; the transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
- Meta / WhatsApp, through which we receive and send messages.
- Our hosting provider, where the data is stored: [Hostico / other provider].
- The company's accountant, for billing details only.
We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Documents sent for the free check: 6 months from your last message, then we delete them.
- Paying customers' documents: for the duration of the contract plus 12 months, so we can follow deadlines and appeals.
- Invoices: 10 years, as required by Romanian accounting law.
- Whenever you type DELETE, we immediately delete your data, except what the law requires us to keep. When a driver types DELETE, we delete their personal documents; CMRs and truck documents stay with the company, without the driver's name.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict processing and to data portability, to object to processing and to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us at contact@tirko.eu or on WhatsApp. We reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority, Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, Bucharest, dataprotection.ro, or to the authority in your own EU country.
How we protect it
Only the members of the Tirko team who handle replies can access the data. Data is sent encrypted (HTTPS), and our internal dashboard is password-protected.
The tirko.eu website
The website uses no tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.
